Independent Research Essay

Students dig up an important issue that prompts a personal response. They learn the fundamentals of research:  formulating good questions, methodologies and analysis of data.  And implicit in every Independent Research Essay is academic honesty and integrity.

Interdisciplinary Project

Students come up with a project of relevance inspired by their research essay.  They have a semester to submit a detailed rationale of the what, why, how, and when to fill in the details of the project of their choice.
